Accessibility

statement

This statement was last updated on [19.01.2026].
Grow&Move is committed to making our website, online classes, and digital content accessible to as many people as possible. We recognise that accessibility includes not only how a website is built, but also how movement, sensory experience, and communication are delivered. Our goal is to create an environment where individuals varied abilities can participate, engage, and benefit from our offerings.

Website & Digital

We aim to provide an inclusive online experience by:

  • Using clear text and readable formatting

  • Supporting mobile and desktop accessibility

  • Providing logical navigation and headings

  • Including image descriptions (alt text) where possible

  • Avoiding design choices that limit readability

We continue to expand and improve these measures as our platform evolves.

Accessibility adjustments

At Grow&Move, we have implemented accessibility features in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) [2.0 / 2.1 / 2.2] to ensure a high level of accessibility. Our website is designed to work seamlessly with assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation. Our efforts include:

    - Using the Accessibility Wizard to identify and resolve potential accessibility issues
    - Setting the language of the site
    - Establishing a clear and logical content order for easy navigation
    - Providing descriptive alternative text for images
    - Incorporating color combinations that meet contrast requirements
    - Minimizing the use of motion on the site
    - Ensuring accessibility of all multimedia and files on the site

Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content

Our commitment to accessibility extends to third-party content integrated into our website. In cases where certain pages are impacted by third-party content, we declare partial compliance with accessibility standards for those specific pages.

Streaming Platforms

Our live and recorded classes may be delivered through third-party platforms such as YouTube, Google Meet, and TikTok Live. These platforms offer features designed to increase accessibility, including:

YouTube:

  • Closed captions (automatic and user-enabled)

  • Playback speed control

  • Volume adjustments

  • Fullscreen and device compatibility

  • Screen reader support

Google Meet:

  • Live captioning during meetings

  • Adjustable viewing layouts

  • Keyboard accessibility

  • Device and browser compatibility

TikTok Live:

  • Volume control and device-based adjustments

  • Built-in display features for visibility

  • Real-time interaction via chat

As these platforms continue to develop their accessibility tools, we aim to use features that enhance participation and user experience.

Movement & Class Accessibility

We understand that bodies, abilities, and energy levels are diverse. Our movement-based sessions are designed with flexibility in mind. Participants are encouraged to:

  • Modify movements to suit their needs

  • Choose low-impact or gentler options

  • Take breaks or rest without pressure

  • Use chair-based support if preferred (when applicable)

  • Move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable

We do not promote “push through pain” culture. Our approach supports personal agency, self-awareness, and sustainable movement.

Sensory & Neurodivergent Considerations

We recognise that sensory processing and neurodiversity influence how individuals experience movement, music, and instruction. To support this, we aim to:

  • Use predictable class structures

  • Demonstrate movements visually

  • Offer clear verbal cues without overwhelming instruction

  • Encourage participants to adjust audio and visual settings on their own devices

Music is used as part of the movement experience; however, participants may adjust volume or use alternative audio setups to reduce sensory overload.

Communication & Support

We welcome communication from individuals who have access needs, including physical, sensory, or cognitive considerations. If you require adjustments or wish to discuss what would make participation easier for you, please reach out.

We will do our best to explore reasonable adjustments and support where possible, within the capabilities of the platforms we use.

If you encounter any accessibility barriers on our website or require further assistance, please reach out to our accessibility coordinator:
